  1. Your craft is a dying art. Someone should breathe life by offering instruction in Bluegrass instruments. I for one would be a student at the rip ole age of 59

    • sign up for the lottery at Bluegrass.com. It opens in November. The RockyGrass Academy in July hosts a five day mandolin building class. It is exceptional. The best intro to instrument building I know of.

Hi Don! While we hate to think of bluegrass as a dying art we do agree that is never too late to pick up an instrument! There are several local musicians who would be happy to give instruction on a given instrument as well as many online resources. The best thing we can offer is our jamming groups on Tuesday and Thursday night. These are great for beginners to not only learn their instruments but bluegrass songs as well. Hope this helps! Please join us at the Logandale Fall Festival October 23 & 24th to see just how alive bluegrass is!

We would love to know where the jam sessions are held. We would also like everyone to know that our home is open to any one who chooses to stop by for a day/week for picking & grinning both at our home and at the local casino right down the street right here in Cal Nev Ari, Nv on the road to Needles & points south.

    • Hi Squier, the Thursday jam is held in a community center at a local park and the Tuesday jam is held at at business location in Henderson. I’m not sure about the directions but there are phone numbers on the page to call for more information. We appreciate the offer and maybe someone will show up at your door for some pickin’ soon! Also, please join us for our Holiday Party next Saturday the 19th. It’s sure to be a great time!
